Jeffrey Richards ’69 and Richard Gross ’70 produced Edward Albee’s “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” which won Best Revival of a Play.
Genevieve Angelson ’08 was in the cast of “Vania and Sonia and Masha and Spike,” which won the Tony for Best Play.
“Bring It On”, whose score was co-written by Lin-Manuel Miranda ’02, was nominated for Best Musical.
The electrifying Tony Awards opening number was co-written by Lin-Manuel, while the closing rap number was co-written by Lin-Manuel and Tommy Kail ’99.
