Actress Lauren LoGiudice ’02 teams up with her friends to create a mini webseries, Vintage Hollywood. The first installment, “The Garden of Allah,” details the infamous 1920s hotel.
“Welcome to Vintage Hollywood, your guide to the silver screen. I am Lauren LoGiudice.”
T“The most infamous hotel in the 1920s was at 8150 Sunset Boulevard, called The Garden of Allah. It wasn’t always a hotel; it was actually a Spanish stucco villa spread over 3.5 acres, owned by the famous actress Alla Nazimova. Every Sunday she invited the best and the brightest of Hollywood to relax, maybe get a little crazy, swim in the pool, and hang out under the gorgeous cedar trees. But that didn’t last forever.”
